Man, Life is really sharp tonight.
'Underneath'
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
I love Damian Lewis.
I loved his hallucination!
Life has one more episode before I stop overlooking this apparently network-influenced horrible writing.
I've always handwaved the plots because of the more important relationships and how the cases are used to examine Charlie's internal life in a (sometimes) subtle fashion, but this is getting ridiculous. I don't think I've rolled my eyes or groaned so much over one episode. Or even the whole first season. Painful.
Wow.
I also really liked the episode.
For me, Life is very much not a show that I watch for the procedure, but for the characters. So it was easy for me to handwave the "Charlie made the corpse fall apart" thing.
But I can see how it would get frustrating. They seem to be playing it even more fast and loose this season than last.
(Incidentally, though [spoiler for Heroes] did NBC get a two-for-one discount on frozen person shattering effects or what?)
Ailleann - I was thinking something similar about your white font!
How long before it shows up on Chuck?
(Didn't Alias do something similar? Maybe it will show up on the new spy show!)
Ailleann,
I cosign your white font comment. Damn. You'd think it was a theme week.
I've been noticing it across networks too. Like, Life had the thing with people in trunks, and then I thought I saw a commercial for Without A Trace that involved people in trunks!
Oh, other theme: cast members from the Riches showing up on Life.
I wonder who we'll see on Friday?
