Apparently, Rob Morrow's wife's family has this tradition of naming their kids in punny fashion. (Or so I read somewhere - although if it was the same interview where he said he wasn't Jewish - well, how much can we trust it?)

This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Is this where we talk about The Closer? I don't have much to say, I guess, but I'm wondering what others thought. I don't like the way Brenda is treating Fritz this season. I don't think I'd want to be with her, myself.
I don't either. She was really shitty to Fritz with that "deal"
I didn't like the way she acted either, and I'm trying to figure out where they're going to go from here.
Yeah, WTF is up with treating him like a doormat! (Even though he did spend an episode on the floor)
I didn't like the way she treated him in the floor episode either. I knew he was going to have ended up being on the floor all day. Couldn't someone have checked on him or brought him food?
Seventh-ing (or whatever number). More Moonlighting Syndrome, maybe? Writers thinking if a couple isn't fighting, it isn't interesting. ::peeve::
I caught a re-run of Bones last night that I'd not seen before and I'm sooo glad I saw it. It's where Bones and Hodgins are buried by the Gravedigger. I hadn't seen before the transition between Hodgins pining after Angela and the two of them starting to be together. It was sweet. Then, I just loved their ingenuity, doing a little backseat chemistry to create some O2. Nicely done.
Well, not so much the moonlighting thing - I think that what she did in this week's episode was totally organic to her character. It's her major flaw - and he knows it. He thought she might be playing him - but he couldn't figure out how. I think his anger is not just about being played but about how not surprising it all is - I wonder if she's going to take this seriously?
One thing I like about Bones, re: the Moonlighting issue, is that it's not just snark between Booth and Bones, they honestly can make each other very angry, due to very different world views. Bones will not moderate her belief that jocks are a waste of space in a college just because Booth did sports in college, and the religion thing continues to be a real issue between them. It's not just a matter of "Those two crazy kids just won't admit they're in love with each other", they have real points of incompatibility. One or both of them would have to have a real personality change to get to a relationship.
re: House.
The episode when House realized Wilson is dating him in the form of Amber was on, including the lovely line "his love of me". Their love is so pure.
Also the preview! With Wilson saying "I'm allowed to walk away from you". YOu know, I don't think I've seen network TV ever let two men have such a deeply emotional link before. Yeah, it's disfunctional as hell, but they're everything but lovers.
