Art Crawl!!!

Well, not so much the moonlighting thing - I think that what she did in this week's episode was totally organic to her character. It's her major flaw - and he knows it. He thought she might be playing him - but he couldn't figure out how. I think his anger is not just about being played but about how not surprising it all is - I wonder if she's going to take this seriously?

One thing I like about Bones, re: the Moonlighting issue, is that it's not just snark between Booth and Bones, they honestly can make each other very angry, due to very different world views. Bones will not moderate her belief that jocks are a waste of space in a college just because Booth did sports in college, and the religion thing continues to be a real issue between them. It's not just a matter of "Those two crazy kids just won't admit they're in love with each other", they have real points of incompatibility. One or both of them would have to have a real personality change to get to a relationship.

re: House.

The episode when House realized Wilson is dating him in the form of Amber was on, including the lovely line "his love of me". Their love is so pure.

Also the preview! With Wilson saying "I'm allowed to walk away from you". YOu know, I don't think I've seen network TV ever let two men have such a deeply emotional link before. Yeah, it's disfunctional as hell, but they're everything but lovers.

Trust my rage

Yeah, connie, I agree with you. The relationship between Bones and Booth is one of my favorite things about the show. And I feel like their characters are pretty consistent about how they treat each other.

My main issue with Brenda, as has been mentioned, is that while her character is consistent, I don't feel like she respects Fritz or his feelings/job/whatever. He's an FBI agent, not a dishwasher. I mean, there's nothing wrong with washing dishes, but what he does is important and that should count for something, especially if she really cares about him.

eta: for clarity, I was agreeing about Booth and Bones although I agree about Wilson and House too.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I like the Bones/Booth relationship in that it isn't really romanticc - it's nice to see a show in which you have two attractive people who can recognize each other's attractiveness without becoming romantic with each other.

And as for the quasi-romantic relationship between two men - anyone watch Boston Legal? The relationship between Denny Crain/Alan Shore is close and they seem to recognize how close it is to romantic ... while both of them have teh sex with women.

Always Anti-fascist!

kyle secor used to irritate Andre Braugher by calling their partnership the greatest love story on television.

They even have sleepovers. The Denny/Alan relationship is great, one of the best parts of the show.

I remember Starsky and Hutch and a number of articles that came out that were enthralled at an emotional relationship between guys being a major point of the show, as opposed to the stoic friendship thing that had been between the partners on various crime shows before hten.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

God, Brenda killed me this week on "The Closer." Fritz deserves better. I thought they were a great couple with her being extremely neurotic, but I am not so sure any more. He is looking like kind of a doormat that will put up with anything and she needs to learn how to be in a relationship.

I don't want them to break up and then she gets with JK Simmons. I just think that would.not.be.good. I fear for this result.

I hope JK Simmons gets with someone, because I find his voice incredibly sexy. But no, not with Brenda.
