I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I loathed the character, and yet here I am crying. I am easily manipulated.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

CTB was well named. I'm going to miss her.

But now we've got hurt, wounded-puppy Wilson woobie! Will he and his twu-wuv, House, be reunited after recriminations and inappropriate mourning around a stripperpole?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I thought we were going to get The Rolling Stones there. (When Amber said "Well, you can't always get what you want.")

We have before, right?

Edit: Aha! Season 1 premiere and finale, and season 3 premiere. [link] I guess it is the theme of the show.

Can someone explain what happened to Amber? I didn't totally follow what it was she took and why it caused problems.

Show broke me.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

She took a drug for the flu she had. When her kidneys were damaged in the bus crash, they couldn't filter out the drug and it poisoned her.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

the medicine she took for her flu wasn't filtered because her liver/kidneys (my memory as well as biology is badbadbad) was damaged by the bus accident, so instead of getting the appropriate dosage, her whole system got slammed???

Wilson loved Amber, so I loved Amber (plus, the new role suited her so much better)

I thought we were going to get a cliffhanger of House on the bus and then the screen goes black.

Well, I'm in the middle of House--damned time zones--so I'll just enjoy how we get where this is going.

re: Bones--I can buy it being Zack due to something he ran into in Iraq, especially with Hodgins going on and on about how wrong it is to be there. He would try to solve the issue with logic, and he does have a weaker personality. I think it's safe to blame the strike for depriving us of some really good scenes of him trying to bring up what's going on.

This is actually a situation where a cliffhanger would have been damned useful.

so far on House: "I get less rest when I'm asleep." And now I get to wonder how he knew there was a rash on her back. My current bet is that she was getting him drunk and trying to get blackmail material on him. At least I hope so, because House/Wilson is my OTP.

Oh, poor House protecting Wilson. House does have a heart!
