Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Really liking it too. In spirit reminds me of Rockford files. Same laidback toughness. Same deployment of breezy charm as weapon. Same kind of low key smartass.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is a good comparison

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

But does it have the best intro theme song ever?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Or Thomas Magnum. They all have very personal relationships with their cars, too.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My mom had all the Peter Gunn albums! They were great!

No argument that Peter Gunn's theme is awesome, but The Rockford Files gets the prize from me. I just feel myself involuntarily smiling as soon as I hear the opening notes.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm enjoying it. I saw the second episode first and thought it was stronger than the pilot. The actor who plays the cop was in something else I liked a couple of years ago so I'm glad to see him again. Donal Logue was also a nice surprise.

How come every time I actually reember what day Stumptown airs, it isn't on that week?
