I think I still haven't actually read any of Abdul-Jabbar's fiction, but I'm ridiculously excited that he'll be working on Veronica Mars.
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Also, Logan, Weev, and Wallace will be back.
AW YEAH WEEVIL.
Kareem! I may be able to get DH to watch now.
The article I read about Veronica Mars said that the 2 books are considered canon, as is the movie. I figured the movie would be, but you never know with books.
Oh good!
Am I the only crazy person who just wants more books? I will take the show, but I really liked the books more than Season 3 and possibly the movie (although I think I would have liked the movie as a book?)
I think I would also have liked the books as limited run tv series?
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar wrote a book about Mycroft Holmes. Got it for Christmas but haven't read it yet.
I never watched Veronica Mars. I suppose I need to add it to the To Binge list.

Oh! I'll have to check it out.
I enjoyed Veronica Mars for a bit, in particular the delightful dialog, but soured on it in the concluding episodes. I don't know whether I'll be there for a reboot. Probably read a bunch on it first.
Watched the new version of Magnum, P.I., which was fine. Jay Hernandez sounds very much like Tom Selleck, which is sort of unsettling. He's also 8+" shorter, so more like mini-Magnum.
Rick is played by Zachary Knighton from Happy Endings, which is fun. The best part of the show is Perdita Weeks as a kickass version of Higgins.
