Summer marathon series project includes Elementary. I have been following along via threadsuck 2013, 2014, 2015. Just finished Ep8 of Season 3. Reading old threads because I wasn't watching at the time has two major problems. First of course is the pain of reading posts from Buffistas that should still be here. Second is not being able to comment in real time.
That said, I just finished the murdered cops episode, and damn, that closing scene of the perp being led out was something powerful. The sobriety stuff was excellent too. All in all, I am sorry I am so far behind, but marathon watching has its benefits too.
Are there any other current series in the Procedurals category that I should put on the list before Fall?
The sobriety stuff was excellent too.
I have such a weak spot for that. I think Jonny Lee Miller is fantastic dealing with his addiction.
Is season 3 the Kitty season?
Yes, I am warming up to Kitty. Right now she has me off balance.

I had the same reaction. That was a serious risk on the show's part. Let me know what you think when that storyline is over.
Yikes, I stayed up 1-1/2 hours past my bedtime because I could not stop watching the end of the Kitty arc. It has been a good long while since television has held me so tightly. I'm blown away, and now exhausted! More after I sleep. That was so well done.
Right? When Kitty was first introduced, I thought the show was grasping at straws and had jumped the shark. It ended up being one of my favorite story arcs in any show or movie, ever.
Exactly, I went from annoyed that they were messing with my awesome show to glued to the screen. It worked on so many levels. The emotional connections, the investigative skills understanding, and most importantly it changed each of the characters profoundly. It changed them internally and changed their relationships. I am quite impressed. (and tired, I never stay up so late)

I can't remember was Lethal Weapon considered a procedural or is it a limbo show that gets discussed in Natter?
I can see how it would be a hybrid, but Natter moves so fast, I would not be able to keep up a show-based conversation.
I liked the Lethal Weapon S2E1 kickoff.
I love the characters so much, I don't really care about the procedure part.
I'm not sure how I feel about the new mystery though.
