Exactly, I went from annoyed that they were messing with my awesome show to glued to the screen. It worked on so many levels. The emotional connections, the investigative skills understanding, and most importantly it changed each of the characters profoundly. It changed them internally and changed their relationships. I am quite impressed. (and tired, I never stay up so late)

This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

I can't remember was Lethal Weapon considered a procedural or is it a limbo show that gets discussed in Natter?
I can see how it would be a hybrid, but Natter moves so fast, I would not be able to keep up a show-based conversation.
I liked the Lethal Weapon S2E1 kickoff.
I love the characters so much, I don't really care about the procedure part.
I'm not sure how I feel about the new mystery though.
I love the characters too. I'm glad the story is progressing in terms of Riggs and his grief. The exchange in the elevator with Cahill was great and it feels like they aren't going to pretend this would fix him.
I forgot what the new mystery is.
Was so glad to see Trish and Martin interact! I love their friendship and it was good to see that and not have to wait.
I never finished iZombie last season so I am knocking off a few tonight.
Tim Minear has a new show coming in the new year, called 9-1-1. I've put the details in Minearverse, as I'm not sure if it should be discussed here or there: Topic!Cindy "The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death" Dec 19, 2017 8:05:56 pm PST
OH - I didn't realize it was one of Tim's! I was interested because of Connie Britton & Peter Krause.
I am really missing elementary. Still another month + before it starts up. My tv has become short on procedurals and that used to be almost all I watched. I've still got Criminal Minds, but that has turned inward for much of the last 2 seasons. 911 isn't really a procedural.
I might pick up one for my next Netflix watch I guess.
We marathoned all of the Elementary seasons this past year and are more than ready.
