Or packing him into a large trunk (with airholes) and shipping him to her mother.
I was sceptical that a Gipsy Moth (Phrynne's aircraft) could even make it to the Dutch East Indies, much less England, but in researching the matter it seems at least two different women flew a Moth from England to Australia (via India), so it was done. Long trip with a lotta stops, though. The Moth only had had a range of 320 miles and a cruising speed of 75 knots.
The fewer stops, the fewer opportunities for dad to escape.
Allegedly Dad was eager to get back to his wife, but tigers and spots, you know. It might be better to get him back to England by plane, under close supervision.
Summer marathon series project includes Elementary. I have been following along via threadsuck 2013, 2014, 2015. Just finished Ep8 of Season 3. Reading old threads because I wasn't watching at the time has two major problems. First of course is the pain of reading posts from Buffistas that should still be here. Second is not being able to comment in real time.
That said, I just finished the murdered cops episode, and damn, that closing scene of the perp being led out was something powerful. The sobriety stuff was excellent too. All in all, I am sorry I am so far behind, but marathon watching has its benefits too.
Are there any other current series in the Procedurals category that I should put on the list before Fall?
The sobriety stuff was excellent too.
I have such a weak spot for that. I think Jonny Lee Miller is fantastic dealing with his addiction.
Is season 3 the Kitty season?
Yes, I am warming up to Kitty. Right now she has me off balance.

I had the same reaction. That was a serious risk on the show's part. Let me know what you think when that storyline is over.
Yikes, I stayed up 1-1/2 hours past my bedtime because I could not stop watching the end of the Kitty arc. It has been a good long while since television has held me so tightly. I'm blown away, and now exhausted! More after I sleep. That was so well done.
