You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Unfortunately, I was spoiled when I pressed the play button on the tivo and the info came up and said "A forensic tech is killed", and then there's Susie!

I will miss Susie. She was a good character, but it couldn't be anyone else.

I wasn't super surprised about the painting thing, I also thought that the story ended oddly.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I hate to admit it, but Hannibal is really losing me this season. Mostly in terms of, that character would never do that, week after week. Mason Verger is the only character who seems to be truly acting in a way I find true to the character.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I'm really looking forward to the Red Dragon part of the season, which will probably have stronger writing. And hile I love the over-the-top arty pretentiousness of this season so far, everyone does seem to be behaving inconsistently. Which, I guess, means it's thematically consistent with the book Hannibal, which they've been mining for the plot points.

I'm looking forward to the Red Dragon plot as well. But so far this season I am having trouble swallowing Will tipping Hannibal off, Hannibal choosing that method to try to off Will, and Hannibal turning himself in for any reason whatsoever. TCG, who has never read the books was even having trouble swallowing the last one.

Rizzoli & Isles: Someone in Boston would be much more likely to refer to it as The Pike not Route 90.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

At least they didn't call it The 90.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I might call it 90, but only because I go to Maine a lot and have other effing Pike's to deal with.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I always have to remember what 90 is when it comes up on GPS directions.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Is Hannibal's cell really that opulent, or is it a mind palace thing?

This episode was good but very straightforward Red Dragon story. I'm wondering how much Fuller is going to mess with it.

Hannibal: I'm still trying to figure out if Hannibal's cell really looks like that or if it is a mind palace thing. They're really sticking to the text for much of the dialogue.
