That post-coital scene just ruined it for me. Watson is so smart and has been so emotionally balanced all along, that move just seemed crazy.
If she were in her right mind, she would have told him that lying, especially to an addict, is not the way to earn their trust. Given how intelligent Mycroft and Sherlock are, they could have worked it out!
Hannibal's been renewed for a third season.
It would be weird for S2 to end the series, given how it looks like it's going to end. There can't be many more episodes left, can there?
I don't even know how to talk about tonight's episode. It's like an acid trip hangover.
I think it basically comes down to trust nothing you've seen.
Uh, what are "just deserts"? Whatever they are, I don't think Hannibal's going to get them in the next two episodes.
I think if I had been down with Joan/Mycroft in the first place her turnabout would have been comprehensible. But I wasn't.

Sometimes I think copy writers use words/phrases that sound right, if even they're not.
Just desserts or just deserts? That reminds me of the Panic! Video where Spencers idea was a desert paradise, but he wrote dessert, and somehow it had gotten too far into production to stop. So there is a dessert paradise in Nine in the Afternoon
Desert is one of those archaic words that survive in sayings and phrases. It means that which is deserved.
I have never seen it written any way but "just desserts". Consider me educated, but still confused why they'd pick the archaic spelling unless they're v. caught up in their eruditeness.
However, I find myself mostly given up on the show after this episode. There's no one left I feel for. Hannibal will not get his just anything, Will Graham has perplexed me beyond empathy, and everyone else is just running around and not accomplishing anything.
