I really liked the last ep, ESPECIALLY the whole sequence following Sherlock being shot. Wonderfully imaginative, smart and yet very visceral.

I don't know if Mary Sue-ness is the exact problem I have. She's got more backstory than she needs, which might amount to the same thing.
