"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yikes, Laga. I pre-ordered it from DeepDiscount and it was only $28!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

...then I went over to Fresh & Easy and got a cartload of groceries for the same amount. Fresh & Easy wins.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Well, you haven't yet assessed the nutritional value of your DVDs.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We just watched the first two episodes of SPced we TiVoed. Wonderfully fun.

I foresee a purchase in our future. Hopefully we can hold off until used ones reach half.com.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

So I saw a photo of the US "Kath and Kim" and realised that, once again, the American company responsible have completely and utterly missed the fucking point.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Watch me fall down and die with not surprise. I'm a-skeered of it. I think that Molly Shannon will be good, but Selma Blair?

Yeah, especially when you consider this quote from her:

She (Selma Blair) explains, "We're trying to do it on our own terms. But it's a different show. This one has a little more heart than the Australian one.

WTF? Why the does it need "more heart"? What does that mean? If it means they're going to end each episode with a heart-warming *choke* Mother/Daughter moment, then I hope it's cancelled after the first episode airs.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

For anyone who watched The Colbert Report last night, I'd like to say that Schmidt's Sausage Haus is DELICIOUS, and they have cream puffs as big as your head. I think the footage of McCain is in front of the fudge place next door, and also, om nom nom.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

My favorite take that came from the Women for John McCain website: [link]

After wrapping his hungry lips around mouthful after tempting mouthful of old world sausage from a menu of enticing beef and pork sausage stuffed in an extra large natural casing and made moist with sauce, served with a side of wurst balls coated with batter and an inviting split top bun, our next president stepped next door to Schmidt’s Fudge Haus, where he was presented with a tasty box of freshly packed fudge, before talking Schmidt with the press as he delivered some trademark Straight Talk under a sign reading “Fudge Haus” as an enthusiastic audience of wind chimes nearly drowned out his dynamic and soaring campaign rhetoric, deservedly snubbing a female reporter from the unabashedly liberal Wall Street Journal.
