I thought the thing in the martini glass was a Christmas ornament, but maybe onion makes more sense.
We followed it up with the first of the new season of VM so got double the Kristen Bell, plus extra Simone guest starring.

They had a pre-premiere podcast out last week or whenever, and the running joke was that Kriby Howell-Baptiste is on so many shows she can't keep track. Which was somehow charming!

Definitely an onion - Derek's martini glasses consistently contain absurdly oversized cocktail garnishes (instead of actual drinks).
Maximum garnish.
I'm disappointed that I didn't catch the clue dropped about Linda—she asked if there was a fitness center.
At first I thought she was there to annoy Janet. Linda's outfit reminded me of Janet's uniform and her lack of desire for things seemed opposite.
I felt so bad for Eleanor when Chidi forgot her name. I am not worried about the will they/won't they since it's the last season. So I can relax and just watch this unfold.

Ha! Good catch
Does anyone else think Janet might be Bad Place Janet? Like maybe there was a switcheroo when the train came during episode 4.1 (I think; I remember thinking there could have been a switcheroo in the season premiere at some point.)
I was mostly fine with her telling Jason, "Not now, because I have too much going on," but when she told him about Bortles, I couldn't help but wonder if she did so to demoralize him.
Also, she seemed to participate a little too much when Tahani was questioning Eleanor's leadership.
I realize this could all be part of Janet's evolution, but it just gave me pause.
It did seem weird for Janet to volunteer that information, when there was no need for Jason to know anything about what was happening back on Earth. Can Bad Janets tone down their hostility enough to pass for a Good Janet who's stressed out and not being chipper?
After the talks with Jason and Eleanor I think we can safely rule out Michael having been replaced, though.

Yeah, I don't know. I mean after a lot of false starts, Good Janet fooled everyone in the Bad Place at the end of season two, so maybe?

That was my feeling too, Matt.
