Thrive to spite them

Poor Jason. And Chidi.

Man I have missed this show. Nudgey nudge

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

This episode gave us the solid proof why Eleanor was sent to the Bad Place: she pronounced "gif" like the damn peanut butter. NO ELEANOR NO.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That kind of shocked me, yeah.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ha!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The Good Place: The show actually caused me to do a spit take last night. It was so good!

Murphy Brown: I laughed several times, but everyone seemed sort of awkward and uncomfortable. I am hoping it gets a bit edgier and less predictable, and it needs to lose the laugh track.

Mom: That was a dull premiere.

Our wings are not tired.

I haven't watched any of the premieres yet, but appreciate the warning on the laugh track. I'll try and brace myself. Laugh tracks throw me so badly.

Agreed on Murphy Brown. I hope that's just the first episode establishing everything. And, yeah, the laugh track is jarring. We'll see.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I bailed on Murphy Brown about ten minutes in. I loved the original incarnation but this was painfully awkward and unfunny. And it's been so long since I watched a multi-camera sitcom I forgot how jarring it is when the lighting changes between angles!

GOOD PLACE = LOVE

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

One nice touch on The Good Place was that, of course, Eleanor would know about both Kamilah and her sister. It was fun to see Mike O'Malley, too.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I was enjoying Michael's Steven Seagal look in Tahani's near-death event.
