Yeah, the same kind of assorted panel discussing an issue. I feel like the show actually got better between the second and third ones (I missed the first, haven't watched the fourth) so I have high hopes.

I think it is this for me. I find the show very enjoyable but not really a comedy show.

Apparently Giles is in it at some point
He showed up early last night as Galavant's dad. The finale was both good and bad. There were some great songs (especially the duet between Chef and the maid about poisoning all the nobles) and some actual progress in the story. OTOH, there wasn't enough ASH, and Rutger Hauer sucked all the air out of every scene he was in. The man does not do light comedy.

Which is weird because he was pretty good at it in the Buffy movie. Of course, that was more than 20 years ago...
I cracked up when the chef revealed that he'd used his knowledge of everyone's allergies to tailor the dishes to trigger them.
