On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think he had a couple of good nuanced moments as Thranduil. But I really wish he'd get out of the SFX-heavy blockbusters and back to doing quirky dramedies like Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day or the Bryan Fuller series.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Ronan was a pretty thankless role.

The writing certainly did him no favors, but I think there are some actors (or maybe just BRIAN BLESSED!!!1!) in whose hands the role would have been entertaining and compelling even as cartoonishly drawn as Ronan was.

On topic, I'ma hit up OnDemand for a look at Lee on The Mindy Project, where I bet his talents are put to much better use.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

He did have that one great moment where Ronan is thoroughly bemused at being challenged to a dance-off, but mostly, as said, a pretty thankless role.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Community season 6 starts 3/17 on yahoo screen.

I guess they announced it last Tuesday, I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't catch that.

Always Anti-fascist!

Didn't expect to like it, but "Galavant" tickles me.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I was just going to ask if anyone was watching Galavant. I want to like it, but I just don't. Maybe because the songs are bad.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I am loving the ridiculousness of Galavant, with the exception of Ricky Gervais, because a.) Ricky Gervais, and b.) they should have cast Tim Minchin instead.
