Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Art Crawl!!!

I thought that JJ's Canadian accent was good (it reminded me a bit of Michael Hogan as Col. Tigh) but people at TWOP (or some people at TWOP) thought he sounded more Irish - what did you guys think? Because I didn't think he sounded at all Irish.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It sounded vaguely Scottish to me, though he did tone it down to a more typically Canadian/Minnesotan dialect by the end.

Art Crawl!!!

But I think that there are Canadian accents that do sound vaguely Scottish.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It sounded vaguely Scottish to me,

me too.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Me three. But, since my housemate told me Dawson is Canadian, I figured I just didn't know any better.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ugly Betty is back tonight! I've really missed this show.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Dear Hubs,

I like to watch The Office on Thursday nights so I can discuss with the Buffistas on Fridays. If you want us to watch it together, fine. If you're too tired to watch, I can live with it.

However, if you're too tired to watch The Office, please go to bed instead of snoring on the couch while I watch something else. Bill Haley and the Comets' performances in Don't Knock the Rock lose something by the accompaniment.

With love,

Fred

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

The Office last night felt very Old School, except OMG Jim has turned into Michael... !! Part of it was probably Jim overreacting to Ryan, but I think they're planning on a character arc for Jim this season, similar to what they did with Pam in season 3. Should be interesting.

OMG TOBY NO. Poor Toby! If it had been anyone else, I'd have been skeeved out, but it's TOBY, and he's my poor little woobie, and he's been pining hopelessly and he let Pam's innocent compliments go to his head! Don't move to Costa Rica, Toby! It will be okay!

Cokehead Ryan = Priceless. Dwight = AWESOMECAKES.

Re. 30 Rock: I really admired their commitment to the Amadeus homage. Not sure whether it completely worked, but it was worth it for the shots of Dr. Spaceman with his cape running slo-mo to Confutatis from the Requiem. If I recall, every single piece of music used was from Amadeus soundtrack.

Liz offering Kenneth to Banks! Then making out with him in the elevator to protect Jack!! Do they want me to start shipping Liz/Jack or what?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That was a really interesting episode for Jim, I thought. Turns out he can't just step in and be Competent Guy after all.

30 Rock almost has too much funny for me to handle it all in one watching.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I need to see Amadeus now. Except I will be laughing at the parts that were parodied, which will make it weird.

The scene with Ryan was interesting, especially in light of his Talking Head later on about the office listening to good ideas. It's almost like he cares about his job or something.
