Maybe it's some kind of calculated shot at lowest common denominator? Somebody thinking that if crap is popular maybe making a particularly crappy sitcom will be a winner?
Kinda hurts to watch, whatever the root cause.

Brooklyn 99, otoh, is working for me. Granted, getting to see Andre Braugher play a cop again goes a long way, but the rest of it could have ruined that and didn't, so, yay.
I liked Brooklyn Nine-Nine, too.
Continuing my catching up on Tuesday night comedies: New Girl came back strong, but I'm not sure about adding James Franco to Mindy.
OK, this last season of How I Met Your Mother is going to kill me.
I really liked the premiere episodes, especially that last scene. I didn't expect them to give us a Ted/Mother scene so early, but it was a smart choice because now I really care about watching him finally fucking meet her. They're adorable together.
I though they were both annoying! Both episodes, not both Ted and The Mother. She was OK.
I liked them. Not the greatest but no more annoying than himym is normally.
I was already annoyed last season, and was just going to see it out, and then they sprung another season on me! Maybe I should just skip the next 16 episodes.
My least favorite character in HIMYM is Ted. Ted is annoying and I know the character is written that way but I think a good chunk of the annoyance comes from the actor and his choices.
I really want to see Barney and Robin's Married Life Together. With their neighbors Lily and Marshall.
