The Office is on Tivo, not yet watched. But the premise looks promising.

The scroll under Dennis's interview or press conference or whatever it was was too funny. "Norad puts cyborgs in charge of Skynet" - hee!
Who was the Chinese man with Jack in the photo that Buster Wossname was looking at when Jack walked in? Mao Zedong?
I thought it was Kim Jong Il but I didn't get a good look. That's just who came to mind.
Ah, yeah, that looks like him. Thanks.
Loved Baldwin's Nixon impression.
No Office talk yet? I just watched it and loved it -- definitely a return to form from last week's episode. "What part of shorn't don't you understand?" Michael's blind date was painful to watch, but I'm glad she called him on his rudeness at the end, even if it made no impact. And the Jim/Pam moment at the end -- awwwww. They make my heart go all melty.
I didn't get to see The Office until Friday evening. It felt more like the episode that should have aired for the first time back. Though obviously, they had to break up Michael and Jan first.
I do like that they broke up -- I was worried that relationship would become an undercurrent for the rest of the season. And that would not be a Good Thing for the show. How to Succeed in Business and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf shouldn't be mashed up.
And "Give me a dating opportunity in one hour or you're fired" is pure Michael.
I thought Michael's blind date was almost verbatim from the original Office Xmas special. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

That's what I was thinking too! It was totally more David Brent than Michael Scott.
