No Office talk yet? I just watched it and loved it -- definitely a return to form from last week's episode. "What part of shorn't don't you understand?" Michael's blind date was painful to watch, but I'm glad she called him on his rudeness at the end, even if it made no impact. And the Jim/Pam moment at the end -- awwwww. They make my heart go all melty.

I didn't get to see The Office until Friday evening. It felt more like the episode that should have aired for the first time back. Though obviously, they had to break up Michael and Jan first.
I do like that they broke up -- I was worried that relationship would become an undercurrent for the rest of the season. And that would not be a Good Thing for the show. How to Succeed in Business and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf shouldn't be mashed up.
And "Give me a dating opportunity in one hour or you're fired" is pure Michael.
I thought Michael's blind date was almost verbatim from the original Office Xmas special. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

That's what I was thinking too! It was totally more David Brent than Michael Scott.
Oooh, good point, Corwood, now that you mention it.
Oh thank God! I'd feared for my sanity after unknowingly finding the Beek hot in that SciFi coma-zombie movie, but tonight's HowI Met Your Mother went that extra mile to make him as unappealing as possible.

Yay! I'm psyched.
OMG HIMYM!! I totally thought they were going to psych me out like The Office did. BUT NO.
I swear i heard a ton of the HIMYM fandom squeeing during that ending. you guys are aware of the "Robin and Barney are totally doing it" phenomenon, right?
Only because THEY ARE.
Is it wrong that I'm watching sitcoms like they are soap operas?
