I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

I so won't miss Chevy. Pierce is less likeable than either Rygel or Jayne Cobb.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

From what little I've seen of the show, there were SS officials more cuddly than that character. Was he written that horrible right from the start, or did the writers start incorporating Chase's personality after exposure to it?

He's always been horrible, although the worst is probably in season 2. Still, he really never gets a lot better.

Thrive to spite them

From the way I read about this it doesn't seem like there's going to be that big of a difference. He quit when everything but 2 shows were filmed. There's only 13 episodes so that's still 11 episodes with Chase.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Someone in the Hollywood Reporter comments (or possibly an addendum to the article) proposed that they just recast Pierce for those two episodes, and no one notices except Abed.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Haaaaa ha ha, that would be awesome.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I feel that at the outset, he was clueless-privilege bigoted, but as it went on (especially into Season 2), he became activaly spiteful and malicious.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Dana,

I love that suggestion. LOVE it,

That somebody should be the guy who replaced him on SNL: Bill Murray.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just noticed this in the Chevy article:

The show recently got a February 7 Season 4 premiere date and is set to return to its regular Thursday 8 PM time slot

Did we know this? I don't remember I knew that.
