Did anybody else completely miss the announcement that NBC are putting together an Office spin off?
It sounds kind of dubious at this point (was just reading about it on E! online)

How much different would it be from the hour-long Office episodes they've already done?
I thought the hour long Office eps were the weakest ones they've done so far, looking back at it.

The thing I read (can't remember where now) said it would have all new characters -- so there would be an episode or two where they're on the regular Office, and then they go back to their home office or whatever.
why? I know. Forget it, Jake, it's television. but why else?
I was hoping that was an April Fool's joke. Because splitting up the talent would only lead to tears.
Maybe it will be a touching drama about Creed!
okay, I'd watch that. Especially a prequel.
The Netflix instant viewing thingy now has the Dana Carvey Show available to watch online. Phil Nugent wrote about this for the Hat a while back, where he pointed out that the talent on this show was insane. From Nugent's article:
Dave Chappelle, Robert Smigel (who used the show to debut his “Ambiguously Gay Duo” series of animated cartoons), screenwriter Charlie Kaufman (Being John Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), “Daily Show” correspondents Steve Carrell and Stephen Colbert, stand-up comic Louis C.K. and Heather Morgan
Bob Odenkirk and Dino Stamatopoulos were also on the show.
That last name made me do a double take, as it is my maiden name, and I've never known another one. (Though I would assume it is fairly common)
