I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What are your (plural) top five Community eps?

Top five tags?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't know if I can get either down to five. I'll give it some thought, though. I definitely gravitate towards the high concept episodes - Epidemiology, Chaos Theory, Pillows and Blankets, Lupine Urology. But also all the finales. And tags are even harder - my favorite at any given time is most likely to be the one I saw most recently.

I am watching Lupine Urology again, and remembering good bits from the commentary, so that might be a good commentary to try, Lee.

It is hard, ian't it?

Maybe I will try that commentary tonight!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

JZ, Emmett and I have just started watching Community, btw.

I just told Emmett that the first season is good but the second season is supposed to be stellar.

"So it gets funnier!?!"

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I am bad with names, but. First paintball episode, Glee episode, video game episode, Ken Burns episode, and the space shuttle episode.

Yes, I like gimmicks, it's just off the top of my head, DON'T HOLD ME TO IT.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I LIKE GIMMICKS TOO.

"So it gets funnier!?!"

I think it starts off really strong, so I'm surprised when people say to power through the first few episodes. I mean, obviously it gets better, but "La Araña Discoteca" is right there in episode 2!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Five! Yikes.

- Modern Warfare (of course)
- Cooperative Calligraphy (bottle ep with Annie and her lost purple pens)
- Advanced Dungeons & Dragons
- A Fistfull of Paintballs (the first of the second Paintball two-parter)
- Remedial Chaos Theory

Second season is my fave. Although I could have just as easily placed the first season Christmas ep (Anthony Michael Hall and the cast of Breakin'), Physical Education (Nekkid billiard), Paradigm of Human Memories, Advanced Gay, and Basic Lupine Urology up there.

Tags! There were best in the first season, I think.

- La Araña Discoteca
- First Halloween ep with Batman!Abed and Troy as ... was he supposed to be Eddie Murphy?
- Krumping!
- Troy's million voicemails to Abed
- Cartoon!Abed's come-hither to Troy and Troy's crushed expression when he realized it wasn't real (this one may be my favourite of all time. They had no business packing that much poignancy to an one-minute clip.) Donald Glover and his FACE.
