I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The one from this season where Jeff's ego gets out of control, and the Dean collapses at the sheer sight of him in aviator sunglasses.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Is it quote death match time?

Perhaps so...

Though a lot of these aren't quotes

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

At the risk of being considered a heretic, I didn't really get the humour of the cat-throwing. Is it because I am not a card-carrying member of the Cat Nation? I dunno. Cats are like Jensen Ackles to me. I can objectively see the appeal, but they don't do anything for me personally.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't think that's a cat person joke so much as a horror movie joke. Riffing on that thing where our heroes are startled by something and it's just a cat. Like Patches on Buffy, sort of, but going in another direction.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Riffing on that thing where our heroes are startled by something and it's just a cat.

But then the show keeps on doing the screeching cat thing. Like, 3 or 4 times. It's hard, I think, for a show to know when excessive repetition is funny (Family Guy, I am looking right at you, you piece of shit), but the cat thing totally does it for me. (The Simpsons usually did it pretty well, like in the Cape Fear episode, with Sideshow Bob stepping on all the rakes ever.)

Until they might be more scared of the cat than the zombies. Which I just love.

Thrive to spite them

Also because the cat does sort of fly through the air at one point (if I remember correctly).

My favorite part from that is Troy and Abed's I love you. I know. Which I only realized the other day is the Han Solo/Leia exchange before he gets frozen. I love that scene because they went there with Troy and Abed! Even if they don't remember.

Community does nice call backs to previous episodes or little set ups for future ones. In the student body election episode when Troy and Abed were doign commentary the ticker at the bottom had a few things (I'm blanking on them) but I think one was about no paint ball and then something about a Western theme.

Then when Shirley had her baby several of the other characters are complaining about how the study group makes it all about them and Starburns says something about them being out at St Patrick's day (which was in the fake clip episode).
