I saw a couple of girls the other day that looked like they'd walked right out of Girls. And? I judge, I judge. They didn't look good. I suspect RuPaul would not approve.

Comedy 1: A Little Song, a Little Dance, a Little Seltzer Down Your Pants
This thread is for comedy TV, including network and cable shows. [NAFDA]
Today's daily dose of Community = Interpretive Dance. More Troy dancing, please! I had forgotten all of the non-dance related plots. Did we ever find out who the Dean rated #1? And, hey, I believe that's the first reference to Jim Belushi -they keep going to that well, but it keeps being funny. Also, I love this tag, with the crossword and " I love misdirects" "I love The Big Lebowski".
I am apparently still annoyed at Harmon for saying he was creatively hamstrung during the first season, because the first season was really good. More conventional than 2&3, but not by that much, and chock full of character growth and emotional through lines.
So, Community. What's a favorite moment for you(se)? I think my favorite comedy moment, the one that made laugh the loudest, was when Troy was trying to get out of having started to say that Jeff was about to, "...fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii..ght," to Shirley and just couldn't sound his way out. And then when Jeff tried it and couldn't either and was like, "yeah, there is really no good way to end that.". Troy's delivery, and the expression on his face were just so perfect. I love that moment and rank it very high on my list of TV favorite moments of all time. And it's weirdly non-pivotal in the general scheme, but so good.
It is a wonderful moment.
I think one of my favorite moments was just realizing what sort of episode "Remedial Chaos Theory" was going to be. Because I had zero knowledge about the episode going in, and when the die was rolled initially, I thought, cute, but are they going to...
And then they did.
VAMPIRE ARMS
That's funny - I'm pretty sure that reading about that ep here is what convinced me to start watching. I hadn't been in this thread for a while. Chalk one up for good timing, or good picking where to start reading again fu, maybe.
Yes, vampire arms! That was, "Just be yourself," right? Oh, god.
Unrelated aside: After after having seen Dark Knight this weekend, I realized that BatVoice just makes me think of Abed now.
Those are all good.
I like the fiiiiiiiiiight one also because it's so typical of Troy to not be able to think of a lie on his feet like that. Like in Interpretive Dance "I have a perfectly normal class like Math or something then" when Annie wants to move when they meet.
Vampire arms are, of course, iconic.
The climax of the zombie episode is pretty wonderful, can I count that as one long moment?
Yes, you can!
Oh, man, totally that whole bit where Abed does vampire arms.
