I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Dan Harmon, being Harmonesque

Well, that was disappointing. I was hoping for more original and amusing moaning from him.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

t, I agree. I am not sure if it was the interview format (I am not a fan of the interviewer, too much self-absorption that colors most of his interviews IMO), or he is too close to the situation, or non-disclosure agreements, or a period of uncertainty but I almost could have given that interview.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I haven't found his interviews interesting recently. He's sounded kinda childish and I've bee bracing myself in case he says something really embarrassing. I guess I'm glad I didn't get it. It's just typically whiny.

That's true, could be much worse. But I expect anyone complaining about being a mistreated delicate genius to display some genius in his complaints.

Always Anti-fascist!

Or just be balls-to-the-wall arrogant, like when David Simon told Eric Holder he'd make more Wires if Holder stops the drug war first? (I still have the best showrunner stories, cause Simon is, like, Yahweh-certain he's right at all times. And, if this were still the Watergate era, a good reporter could prove you have stupid hair. But, you know, with media consolidation, and everything, you're probably doomed to wander the world inexpertly coiffed. Also, fuck Rupert Murdoch and the carpetbagger SOB that has Simon's old job at the Sun, too.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Has anyone seen Gravity Falls on the the Disney Channel. I heard Kristen Schaal of the Daily Show was going to be doing one of the voices, and I thought I would check it out. Really cute. I think many of the buffista spawn would like it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I've been enjoying Gravity Falls.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Emmy noms are out: [link]

I am not surprised Community did not get any noms but honestly, FOUR supporting actor nominations for Modern Family? I've never watched it but understand it is a pretty funny show. But seriously, four? They couldn't spare one for Danny Pudi or Nick Offerman from Park and Recs?

ETA: as a consolation, here is an adorable pic of Community gang cosplaying as the Avengers, including Britta being, well, Britta: [link]

Awards, man, I so rarely understand them. That picture's reallly cute, though, esp. Shirley with the Hulk hands.

Yesterday my daily dose of Community brought me Football, Feminism, and You from the first season, including Troy's admission that he missed being the best at something. His character arc is so interesting.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!
