"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Is Mercedes graduating?

She is. They addressed that in the episode where her lack of ambition (as perceived) was addressed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

10 of the most profound sentiments ever uttered on Community.

How to pick, how to pick?

Hey. New board.

Am I missing something? I saw one episode of Community, but shouldn't I have two more, not 30 Rock?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

The other 2 are after 30 Rock.

Also, HOLY CRAP, this show. I never knew I wanted something so much until they gave me the group as an 8-bit video game. Troy, constantly flipping! The hippies! Abed and Hilda! Defeating Pierce's dad by SHOOTING BABIES AT HIM!

And I hate when they make me like Pierce, and this might be the first episode that made me genuinely *like* him, rather than feeling sorry for him (my 2 reactions to Pierce are generally DIAF or pity). I may have teared up when he told Gilbert he always wanted a brother. (Although I have some brother issues right now, so.)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Am I wrong that the second Community was pretty much a Leverage parody? It certainly felt like one, but maybe it was just a heist/scam movie homage and Leverage just happens to be working that the most right now on my radar.

Loved the third one, too. They went way dark (as soon as Evil Abed turned up I gasped out loud) and then just wonderfully bright all in the same episode. I'm sorry that looks to be the last of John Goodman on the show, though. Unless Troy gets further ghost visitations.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

t averting my eyes from the East Coast comments for a bit longer

I guess Troy didn't learn much riverboat gambling with dinosaurs.

I'm going to have pause on so many screens of this.

I'm so glad we bought the season on iTunes, because I am going to pause the hell out of that one. I want to see all of Hilda's knowledge base!

OMG, that first episode.

I just can't even come up with the words.

I also liked the other two, but I'm still kind of blown away from the first one
