I believe it's totally possible for him to put on normal like a sweater that never fits comfortably and never come back out.
Do you think that's what Troy was doing before he came to Greendale? Pretending to be normal and not realizing there were better fitting sweaters to be had? So maybe de-whimsifying chafes him a little more now than it does Abed.

That's true. Well, there's Abed's father's falafel stand, but that's always been there. The air conditioning repair destiny has me a little scared.

Man, I have no idea who's even in the running.
I was rewatching some S1 on the plane, and I love how awesome the music on this show can be. In the episode where they take the sailing class, and they're sailing nobly past a classroom window, there's this dramatic music with timpani, and it's just hilarious. Same thing with the space simulator episode, and of course, paintball.
The music in the S2 paintball 2-parter was particularly good.
I need to get S2 on my traveling computer.

If anyone would subvert code, it would be them...but who knows how early or late in the cliche they would do that?
