But weren't you laughing through the tears? I'm in total denial about Community. In my mind, it will be back in the spring and be picked up for another season because it has such a cult following. (Six seasons and a movie!)

The whole episode reminded me of a Chuck D song circa the late 1990s. You know, the kind of song where he is on his shit, righteous and angry for all of the verses?
The episode was funny, but it was clearly hitting Glee (and perhaps some Community fans) at all the sore spots. It self-referenced, other show-referenced with attitude.
I need to watch the ep 2-3 more times.
