The whole episode reminded me of a Chuck D song circa the late 1990s. You know, the kind of song where he is on his shit, righteous and angry for all of the verses?
The episode was funny, but it was clearly hitting Glee (and perhaps some Community fans) at all the sore spots. It self-referenced, other show-referenced with attitude.
I need to watch the ep 2-3 more times.

I just watched last night's Community. (Thank you, Hulu!)
That was bizarre and brilliant and hysterical and made me sniffly on top of it. I can't believe they had time to write a reaction to being bumped, either.
