Have started watching Big Bang Theory(Both DVD and syndicated) and have come to the uncomfortable conclusion that I'm too much like Howard Wollowitz, despite not being Jewish.
Yeah, I started watching about a month ago, and I'm thinking Sheldon makes far more sense than the show probably intends for me to think. Also, I'm not liking Leonard all that much. Penny's great, though.
I recently happened to see the episode with Christine Baranski playing Leonard's mother.
I like Leonard more when he's vulnerable.
Penny is great, because even though she's casual(and probably *should* check her engine more often) she's not a ditz. She doesn't shop all the time or think that knowing things is gross.(Which goes to show how ill-defined most sitcom women are.)ETA: Toddson, yeah, that was a good one...she was really good and you feel sorry for Leonard, too.
After watching last night's Glee, I just have one comment. What the hell was that thing Kurt was wearing when he and Blaine sang Perfect? It was so distracting! Please tell me that's not really an in-style thing?
I assumed one of his opponent's goon minions had yanked a tablecloth over him so hard that his head punched a hole through the middle.
It was a kind of half-poncho thing. And then at the end, he had a full poncho.
It was hideous and so distracting we didn't listen to the song, we just kept saying over and over again.."WHAT THE HELL IS THAT????" and then he actually wore a poncho at the end. My daughter wants to know what Chris did to the costumer that made them put him in the WORST clothes ever!
Seriously, Kurt's "sweaters" were hideous.
I *TOLD* people that ponchos were back in the stores! bleah ... I didn't wear them last time around, even when I was in my hippy-ethnic clothing period. As Ginger put it so succinctly (paraphrasing), if God had intended me to wear ponchos, I'd have been born in the Andes.
edited because I CAN spell
Ponchos are everywhere, and Kurt's intended to be very fashion-forward.
That being said, it just looked like someone sliced off half of his turtleneck sweater.
(I didn't mind the cape/poncho thing at the end so much.)
