I liked the episode a lot. Mike Chang!
Comedy 1: A Little Song, a Little Dance, a Little Seltzer Down Your Pants

Kurt was cast as Krupke. His name was last on the list.
Really? They gave Kurt the non-singing authority figure part?
I didn't watch, but Kurt would make a lovely Baby John.
Last night's New Girl was mostly meh, but that Slo-Mo Chicken Dance made Every Single Moment Worth It.
I'm not the only one who thinks Mercedes/the actress playing her is pregnant, am I? I was only watching with a quarter of an eye last night (so if they actually said so, oops), but that seemed glaring.
The Slo-Mo Chicken Dance was the highlight, yeah.
And it crossed my mind that Mercedes was pregnant. I'd rather they didn't go there since we still have Quinn's baby storyline going on.
Bonus Raising Hope tonight!
This was the best Glee episode they've had in a while, which is perhaps faint praise, but still. Loved seeing more Mike Chang. Based upon how well those football players did in that performance of Cool, he's not a great dance teacher, he's a magician.
Brittany performing Run the World (Girls) was complete fire and I hate that song. Heather Morris can dance her ass off.
Amber Riley posted that Mercedes is not pregnant, so I think either she's supposed to be wearing out from the rigorous dance practices or faking same to avoid them.
I think the two references to her feeling sick (one in the song) is going to mean something, but something like an illness.
I saw people criticizing the episode for not setting up her "tantrum" well enough, which is maybe partly true. But on the whole, I think she's justified in the sense that Rachel gets away with a lot based simply on her confidence and pushiness.
I like Mercedes having a new boyfriend, but if she's going to have one, I wish they'd give him an actual character to play.
Mike dancing with his mom made me cry.
can you guys see this? [link]
a guy i grew up with was in last night's ep of New Girl. pretty neat! he moved to LA last year to try to "make it".
