Because books.

I think the two references to her feeling sick (one in the song) is going to mean something, but something like an illness.

I saw people criticizing the episode for not setting up her "tantrum" well enough, which is maybe partly true. But on the whole, I think she's justified in the sense that Rachel gets away with a lot based simply on her confidence and pushiness.

I like Mercedes having a new boyfriend, but if she's going to have one, I wish they'd give him an actual character to play.

Mike dancing with his mom made me cry.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

There were at least two not in the song. It was weirdly handled, though. I felt less like they were setting up a future issue than setting her up as a goldbricker to give Schue the chance to (totally inappropriately, for the second time in one episode) go off on her.

She has every reason, from past seasons, to flip out w/r/t Rachel.

So effing glad they didn't turn Kurt/Blaine into a big issue around Tony.

Loved the Mike Chang stuff.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I LOVED Mike Chang dancing with his mom. I love that actress anyway, though.

Plus, my favorite big guy from ABDC was one of Mike Chang's dancers (the polynesian guy with the great hair)

I can't see it, but I'm on my work computer, which blocks a good 50% of the internet for one reason or another, so I don't know whether it's the link or Websense.

Which guy was he?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

He was great. Really shone in that big number.

Hopefully Sondheim and the Bernstein estate are getting plenty of royalties. I suspect Tina Chang is really a soprano (or Jenna is), but the show has kind of ruled that out.

"Fix You" is a creepy enough song, but there's also an excellent BSG vid to it, so I was mostly thinking "It's a Cylon kill it kill it with fire!"

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Holy shit! Did people know there were new episodes of Archer? My DVR fucked me and didn't record them, but a friend of mine got them. It was a three part post-bride-death series and it was as wrong as Archer always is. I need to check if this was some HD only thing because I have that set up as a series recording and it didn't happen. Happily, I got to watch all three tonight (there wasn't a new episode this last Thursday, so I don't know if the season proper has started).

I didn't see any ads about this like I have for the last two seasons. I'm am more than a leeeetle pissed right now.

We did!

I guess we should've mentioned it. Patrick Warburton!

Patrick Warburton!

And David Cross. Though somehow David Cross was the most subdued person of note in the episodes. That takes some doing.

Man, I hope they get to keep Warburton. He's perfect for this show.
