You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

You know the episode of "Family Guy" where Lois catches Meg & her bf doing it in the ear? Lois tells Meg about how truly wonderful vaginal intercourse can be. Does anyone recall the name of that episode or (even better) have a link to a clip of that speech?

hmm you'd think ctrl^f 'ear' on the imdb episode list would work. I must only be remembering the subplot of the episode.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I am four episodes into season two of Parks and Rec, and I am kind of loving it now that it's about characters and not municipal government satire.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

It took me awhile to fall in love with it too. But once I did, I just wanted to hug it really hard and take it home with me!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Sports Night:

Beau and I are blowing through eps and I can't quite grasp why this show is so well-loved by some. What am I missing?

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

it's possible you have no magic in your spleen, le nub. it's been so long since i watched, but i loved the relationships between the cast, mostly. they all had a great rapport.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I found the laugh track in s1 to be super-grating, and it got in the way of enjoying the show. But amyth made me watch all of it, and it was worth it. There is no laugh track in s2. It's the relationships and the characters, really, plus some good dialogue and creative plot devices.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Joe and I constantly quote "Sports Night" at each other. Usually from The Cutman Cometh.

Also, "I told many, many people." is a common line around here.

Well, here's why I loved it.
