I found the laugh track in s1 to be super-grating, and it got in the way of enjoying the show. But amyth made me watch all of it, and it was worth it. There is no laugh track in s2. It's the relationships and the characters, really, plus some good dialogue and creative plot devices.

Well, here's why I loved it.
I don't know...it's cute. I think of it every time a TV show doesn't play "Happy Birthday"Which, you know, is quite a lot. "It took two people to write that?!" Also, I think Peter Krause and Josh Charles are adorable humans.
I love the episode with the letter to his sister and "My Boogie Shoes."
I guess it depends how far into it you are, LN. If you've seen Thespis and didn't love it, there is no hope.
