Who played the judges on Glee?
Comedy 1: A Little Song, a Little Dance, a Little Seltzer Down Your Pants
This thread is for comedy TV, including network and cable shows. [NAFDA]
The crazy Christian was Kathy Griffin, the nun/stripper was Loretta Divine, and the anchorman was the guy from last season that Sue had a fling with.
I kinda got choked up a little, I gotta say. [link]
Trouty Mouth and Hell to the No need to be on my iPod right now. I liked both of them better than either of the songs they wound up singing at regionals.
I am also glad that Kurt/Blaine finally happened although I fear the painful break up (as no couples ever actually stay together on this show).
That was a fun episode. I wanted more from the Kathy Griffin cameo after all of the build up. Loretta Devine was fabulous.
I liked all the original songs. Hell to the No was the best, but I liked both of the Regionals songs too.
I wonder who the actual song-writing team was? Hell to the No could be a summer hit, easily. I wouldn't be surprised if it actually becomes one.
the nun/stripper was Loretta Divine
I saw her name in the opening credits and for half a second I was all yay Missouri's back! Then I remembered I wasn't watching Supernatural.
I'm getting caught up on Raising Hope and omg Amy Sedaris! So awesome.
My sister indtroduced me to Bob's Burgers, an animated comedy on Fox. Now, i dislike fox as much as the next liberary Whedonista, but it's hysterical. The first episode was a little offputting, but it grew on me like Portland moss with Kristin Schaal's dulcit voice.
ZOMG ARCHER.
ZOMG ARCHER.
Right?
One of the commentors at AVClub noted that it played like the rake gag with Sideshow Bob. They just kept repeating it until it went from possibly funny, to funny, to not funny, to brutally funny.
Also, Emmett and I are so thoroughly infected with Aisha Tyler's line readings that all of our negatives and affirmatives sound like her: "Nyooope!" "Yes I Do!" "Yup"
