the nun/stripper was Loretta Divine
I saw her name in the opening credits and for half a second I was all yay Missouri's back! Then I remembered I wasn't watching Supernatural.

I'm getting caught up on Raising Hope and omg Amy Sedaris! So awesome.
My sister indtroduced me to Bob's Burgers, an animated comedy on Fox. Now, i dislike fox as much as the next liberary Whedonista, but it's hysterical. The first episode was a little offputting, but it grew on me like Portland moss with Kristin Schaal's dulcit voice.
ZOMG ARCHER.
ZOMG ARCHER.
Right?
One of the commentors at AVClub noted that it played like the rake gag with Sideshow Bob. They just kept repeating it until it went from possibly funny, to funny, to not funny, to brutally funny.
Also, Emmett and I are so thoroughly infected with Aisha Tyler's line readings that all of our negatives and affirmatives sound like her: "Nyooope!" "Yes I Do!" "Yup"
Oh, I totally have started saying "Nyooope!" and "Yuuuuuup" with a hard p at the end.

Sweet Jesus, we LOVE this show. Did I not pimp it here? Maybe just Facebook. For the first few episodes I was just in it for the kids (especially Louise, who is AWESOME, and I have -- very seriously -- started looking for a bunny-ear hat of my own), but around the taxicab/Tina's birthday party episode, I realized I love them all. Even the mom with her annoying voice.
That show is twisted as hell and funny as fuck. I expected it to be cancelled by now.
I guess we should note that the lead on Archer, H. John Benjamin, is also on Bob's Burgers.
Also, I somehow have a song about ecstasy by H. John Benjamin. (You know, the song that goes, "This is so fucking great!" with the background singers chirping "This. Is. So fucking. Great.")

I am a non-cable-having cheap-ass. However, I hear there are these nifty things called DVDs, so perhaps we should check them out.
He also did Home Movies on Cartoon Network back in the day (for all "back in the day" values of >5-ish years), which I loved. But man, Bob's Burgers is FUCKED UP. It is pleasing to me.
