Angel: Just admit it: you think you're gonna ride in, save the day, and sweep Buffy off her--Spike: Like you're not thinking the same thing. Angel: I'm already seeing somebody. Spike: What, dog girl?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I liked what they did with Jim, but most of the episode fell flat for me. A few of the Michael-in-wilderness gags were amusing, but it didn't feel like a successful story overall.

But Pam was wearing something very fuzzy and I wanted to touch her. Which is par for the course, but there was extra incentive this week.

This was another episode written by Steve Carell, by the by.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

This actually made me laugh out loud at my keyboard like a moron. Can I tag that?

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Hmm. I didn't catch the closing credits. Must rewatch, and hope Tivo didn't cut them off.

Greg Daniels on the strike.

The first line spoils what Jenna hinted at in her blog about what was in store for the next episode to be shot, and the last question looks to spoil a bit of next week's too, but other than that, it's good:

Another thing I think is important for the public to know is that our government gives broadcast licenses to these big media companies to create the public culture. For them to just be only concerned with money, for them to say they don't mind taking The Office off the air, The Shield off the air, Grey's Anatomy off the air and replacing them with new reality shows like, you know, America's Loudest Voice and America's Prettiest Face, that's not fulfilling their obligation to create a good public culture.

Not javachik

30 Rock is becoming one of my (many) favorite shows. I startled the cat awake 3 or 4 times watching last night's episode, although now I can't remember what they were.

How I Met Your Mother - 2 episodes left. The final Office is Thursday. Earl has 7 episodes left. Ugly Betty will have 5 more eps, although the last few are done from drafts.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I admit it -- this makes me v. happy.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I'll be sitting in the corner with Steph.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh -- I feel like I should stop watching TV now, to save some for later...

Also, on 30 Rock, does anyone not in NY remember Rick Lazio? Because that campaign ad was hilarious, but it seemed awfully local.
