I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

The actress is also a writer and producer on the show, so I presume she's been writin'. Unless I'm wrong. She's in next weeks ep.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Ugly Betty:

Oh, I love Marc and Cliff. So so SO much.

Betty's dad makes me cry almost every episode. Damn, man.

Daniel! Way to be a dick, dude!

And -- didn't the show producers/whoever get the memo that "Hallelujah" played over Closing Scenes Of Trauma(TM) is SO tired??? Pfft.

I actually thought they were joking on-purpose, but I wasn't 100% sure. I did laugh like a loon.

Heh, yeah I knew about the shows... oh, I mean promotions... being online. I just feel all ooky about it now. I know, not watching there isn't actually helping anything, it's just one of those things. Especially when you consider that I've gotten stuff shadily before, which I always justified by "But I'm going to buy the DVDs when they come out."

Hey, I never claimed to be 100% logical 100% of the time. (Am I the only one who now expects a link to a post where I have said that very thing? I just can't think of absolutes in the same way since joining here.)

JenP, oh, I know exactly where you are coming from. It's logical to me. I was just going for the cheap gag.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I loved what they did with Jim in this week's Office. It connected back to what made me fall in love with the show in the first place--the way it reflected my own experience of just sort of ending up in a job because you needed to pay the bills, then looking around and thinking, "Wait a minute. THIS is my life?! How did this happen? I didn't want this!"

I was just going for the cheap gag.

Which I fully support.

Susan, absolutely. I think that's why I loved the closing credits so much.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I liked what they did with Jim, but most of the episode fell flat for me. A few of the Michael-in-wilderness gags were amusing, but it didn't feel like a successful story overall.

But Pam was wearing something very fuzzy and I wanted to touch her. Which is par for the course, but there was extra incentive this week.

This was another episode written by Steve Carell, by the by.

This actually made me laugh out loud at my keyboard like a moron. Can I tag that?

Hmm. I didn't catch the closing credits. Must rewatch, and hope Tivo didn't cut them off.
