I thought it played up the "Indians are sooooo ignorant of everything American" far too much, and the whole Halloween party made no sense at all to me. It was weird. But then Madhuri stole the whole episode in one scene.

Did you see the promo for next week?
No, I try not to watch network-made promos since they're usually annoying. Hold on.
...I don't even know what the hell all that was.
I was more floored by how the shot pushed in to the fortune teller's bindi.
Oh, yeah, that's their standard thing, and yeah, uh, yeah.
Big Bang Theory has Eliza Dushku AND Neil deGrasse Tyson!
And a Gorn.

I'll just say that, as good as the Kurt storyline was, the Coach Bieste stuff pinged me real hard, and I'm really hating Shue more than I did before. She didn't need nor really want your pity kiss, you bastard. (And believe me, I know my pity kisses.)
I know. I have really disliked Shue this season. I wonder if they are doing it on purpose. I did think that he was as kind as he could have been when he was talking to Coach the first time.

Very offputting.
I hated the stuff with Coach Bieste. I hate that name. I hate that they think that's funny. I hated Shue's kiss.
They creators really don't like women, and have extremely reactionary, kind of shitty values.
For all the talk about outsiders and misfits, they constantly enforce the shallowest status quo and these characters are not good people.
yeah, I'm not sure what to do about this show. The dichotomies in storyline have always been there, but this ep really exemplified how well they can do Curt's story and how poorly they can do stories featuring/about women. Bieste's was really atrocious. And worse yet? Totally unnecessary.
