I'm not saying she's not a horrible person, but she's not the person Shue thinks she is, and neither is he.

and he's starting to figure out that he's not as good a person as he thinks he is.
Is he, though? I can't think of a lot of other examples outside of the end of this episode where he seems to really be getting that.
He's been disappointed in himself a lot. Usually when he pits himself against Sue, though this season it was when he joined her. Also, when he thinks he's compromised his ideals, but that's kinda his blind spot still.
I keep hoping he'll have some sort of ongoing plan or strategy for the club that isn't inspired by something he heard or saw 5 minutes ago. But then I remember episode 1.02, when he was going to make the kids sing KC and the Sunshine Band songs in front of a school assembly because that sort of thing was considered cool 15 years ago when he was in Glee Club. (And I don't get the impression he understood it was popular back then thanks to Disco-era nostalgia rather than something inherent in the music...)
Matt, you said you missed the end of the show. Did you see the link that Barb posted last week? It has a clip of the cast doing the entirety of "Time Warp," at least.
Got to see the end of the ep last night. Will's realization was about two steps above an after-school special. The Time Warp was amusing. Finn's walk down the hall was facepalm. And interesting irony that Sam is the one being set up for the body image crisis.
I miss Puck.
Is it bad that I sort of enjoyed Glee this week? I mean, I've never been watching Glee for the superb plot or characterizations (although I do find quite a few characters fantastic), but.. I don't know, I guess I'm just very easily pleased. I just find Glee fun, and it usually delivers on the fun to the point where I don't care what else is going on.
I swear that with all the other shows I watch I actually care about things like writing and plot. On Glee, though, I.... I just enjoy it.
I'll take my unpopular opinion and go sit in the corner now.
Yeah, I liked it a lot. But not only to do I try not to think about Glee, I don't care about Rocky Horror -- so two minefields avoided!
