"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That was my favorite Glee of the season.

JZ commented (and I thought also) that they seemed to address some of the critiques the show has experienced, and backed off the uberselfishness of Rachel, and some of Curt's issues with Finn.

“Not dead yet!”

I think this was the first episode this season so far that found songs that worked with the storyline, rather than attempting to shoehorn a story around songs.

I also loved how they addressed some of the hanging threads from last year with Finn & Kurt and I really liked how they had Rachel being selfless & selfish at the same time, which was a good balance that they managed most of last year.

Also, while I rolled my eyes at the "Let's costume Lea Michelle just like Barbra," I could absolutely listen to Lea and Chris Colfer sing Broadway all day long. That duet was gorgeous.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Also, while I rolled my eyes at the "Let's costume Lea Michelle just like Barbra,"

yes, and the facial expressions, too. But, it was true to the character.

I loved the discussion about Grease and Grease 2. I have a guilty love of that terrible movie, and secretly hoped that they'd sing one of the songs (Love Will Turn Back the Hands of Time, anyone?)

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just wanna geek out over the terrific rendition of "Le Jazz Hot" (Kurt blew that one out of the water!!!) and "Sing," which is one of my favorite Chorus Line songs (Mike and Tina were so cute).

Yeah, that reminded me of Xander and Anya's number "I'll Never Tell."
