A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Mine is probably Midnight Confessions, but the video I found of that one didn't have any Creed close-ups.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I didn't ask the name of the band, but I didn't see his name mentioned among the band members.

The guy is from, or lives here by way of, L.A.

Creed has played with lots of people, but the Grass Roots were the most famous. [link]

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I think the guy said whatever band this was either was playing or broke up in 1972, and that he (Creed) was doing walkons and extra work, so that jibes.

Thanks Jon! (Which was actually this guy's name, but I'm not sure spelled the same).

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've been spending some of this week finally watching the last batch of Glee eps while recording them, and now I'm reading what y'all said about them back in April. It's a bit late now, but I have to say that all of you who said after the "Bad Reputation" ep that you had never heard the song "Run Joey Run" before are damn lucky! God, that song is my go-to example of cheesy 70s bad songs, and those of us who were addicted to our Top 40 stations could not escape the damn thing when it was at its heyday.

I'm now afraid I'll be earwormed with it for the rest of the day. Bleah.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

OMG, I was catching up on the new Futurama episodes, and the robosexual marriage one was just about perfect, especially the George Takei cameo. I also loved Kiff in badass biker mode at the very end.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, why are people not yelling at me to watch the Louis CK show?? I'm finally watching a few I had stacked up on the DVR, and holy shit.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

right? this show is a trip and a half. I think it can be a tad uneven, but each week I am guaranteed to laugh my ass off at something.

The ep before last was really wild.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm not sure how I feel about it, yet. I think I like it, but I feel like I'm not quite in the right mindset to fully get it or something. It makes me think "I see where that might be funny" more often than it really makes me laugh...
