Wasn't Cop Rock awful?
yes, but deliciously so. Plus, a bunch of people who are now/were famous, like James McDaniel (Fancy from NYPD Blue) and CCH Pounder.

Given the speed of delivery, I'm not surprised.
A poster at TwoP snarked that she didn't think Quinn gave birth in 7 minutes; she thought Vocal Adrenaline performed a 16 hour rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody."
I actually do know someone who gave birth in about 10 minutes. (She was very disappointed. She wanted to have a birthing party, and her plan was to call one of her friends, who could call the rest of us, as soon as she went into labor, and we would all show up with wine and crackers and cheese and celebrate the baby entering the world. She ended up delivering the baby about five minutes after she got to the birthing center, which was itself only about five minutes from her apartment.)
Cop Rock was only 11 episodes so I doubt it will ever be syndicated but they could at least release a DVD.
someone could do a marathon!
I'd tune in out of curiosity. I only watched part of one episode when it was on TV.
Cop Rock had its moments (and every time I see an ad for one of these TV judges that has a choir singing in the courtroom, I think "did we learn NOTHING from Cop Rock?"). And seriously - it was better than a lot of what's on now. And getting renewed.
Nebbermind.
When I first started watching Glee I didn't realize that they were actually doing the singing - then I realized those were their real voices and I was impressed.
I feel like Glee sounded overproduced in the first couple episodes and that they toned it down.
