I suspect the surreality that Laga has trouble accepting was Brother Mose (Mo? Moe? Moes?) at the Schrute Farm

However, my surreality meter had already gone into the red (in the good way) by Earl, including H.R. Pufnstuff in Randy's fantasy, then the whole Crab Rap scene, which sure sounded like Eddie Steeples singing and just showed off the moves of the whole cast, too.
Don't forget Joy flying through the air and PUNCHING A CROW.

Yep. And he's played by one of the writers! Oh, writers.
Also, note to Paul Lieberstein: it was a direct object, not an indirect object.
P-C, he was talking about the use of "whomever" in Ryan's sentence. It was an indirect object. "...communicate it to whomever..."
I agree with Jesse - very bleak. Dwight and his keening about killed me. And I loved Jim's "I've been there, and I'm sorry you're there," speech to him on the stairs, though poor Dwight when he reached out and Jim was gone.
Am looking forward to the return of the half hour format.

Wait, what I meant was that it's the object of a preposition.

So funny, yet so sad.
I believe not next week, but the week after's episode is directed by Joss.
That's worth a big woohoo!
Structurally, I think these 1 hour episodes will play better when they're split into halves and trimmed a bit tighter.
FYI, The Big Bang Theory has received a full season order.
I like the Big Bang Theory, so I'm glad.
OMG, Best Week Ever has a HIMYM set visit, and he keeps calling it "him-yim" and is generally hilarious.
And I absofuckinglutely LOVE how well this show handles the transsexual issues. Seriously.
Also, if Henry and Betty do not get together soon, I'm going to rip my hair out.
Steph speaks for me, on both counts.
I really loved this week's Office episode! I wouldn't say it was bleak, though it was pretty painful in some parts, especially Dwight's storyline. (The cat! Do you think Angela recognized Garbage?) But I also thought it was funny (all the Darryl/Kelly bits) and touching (Jim and Pam's efforts to cheer up Dwight) and silly (everything with Mose), and I'm really glad we finally got some kind of explanation as to why Jan is with Michael, and I liked seeing Michael make friends with people at his other job, even though it was sad watching him lie to Jan about what he was doing. I hope we see them on the upswing a bit.
I do think the writers could stand to take some of the focus off of the relationships for a little while, though. Maybe a return to the half-hour format will help with that.
