I like that the kids have parents. Parents with their own issues instead of being absentee or Mr. & Mrs. Cleaver.
So, Shue hasn't seen his wife's belly in how long because of disgusting pustules? That she hasn't gone to the doctor for treatment? Ok, we have an "explanation" now, but the handwavium is getting pretty heavy. She is such an utter *itch. It makes it hard to have sympathy for Shue for being such an oblivious idiot.
