surely they weren't all, every single one, completely evil? Surely there was one guy, maybe a janitor, who was just there because he needed a job, and now his wife and kids wouldn't even get a body for a funeral!
Grant Morrison addresses this very subject in The Invisibles. Pretty great story actually. (By "this very issue" I mean bad guy minion body count rather than Death Star janitors.)
A good review of Glee's ep this week by Mo Ryan of the Chicago Trib, complete with a few clips and link to one of the songs at the end. Loved this bit:
I must acknowledge the show's addictive elements. Dolton native Jane Lynch is giving one of the best performances on television as cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, a driven woman who would be better suited to a gig as the dictator of [a] small, fearful country. I must also note Iqbal Theba, who plays Principal Figgins with a perfectly calibrated mixture of world-weary ennui and canny opportunism.
Um, a little preview song for Glee (I believe this will be on tonight's ep)--
Proud Mary," sung by Tina and (I think) one of the footballer backup guys.
This a freakin' amazing version!! It might be my favorite song yet this season. Can't wait to see it performed on screen!

Good lord, that video was precious. What a cutiehead he is.
Dip and nunchaku! Oh, Puck.
I'm not sure if Puck or Kurt is my favorite right now.
I ... I did not like this episode much. I will go into more datail later, after the west coast airing.
I didn't think it was possible for Puck to be a woobie, but he totally is! And I am really disliking Quinn a lot.
Loved the scenes with Kurt and his dad. Of course, I'm still wondering how Kurt is affording Alexander McQueen. I wonder if he got his SUV back. (my supposition is that whatever killed his mom resulted in a big lawsuit/settlement)
It is so very hard to choose. I love 'em all, those crazy kids.
What Vortex said. And I am still sceptical about this humanization of Sue Sylvester.
