Yeah, I can see that. I actually recorded the East Coast feed on one device and the West Coast on another (not exactly on purpose) so I got to see how disorienting a mistake it was. It's got a very "Wait, is it supposed to be like that?" feeling to it even correctly aired...

Last night's HIMYM was subpar in comparison to last week's great episode. I didn't understand why Robin didn't consider dual citizenship from the get-go. The dilemma made no sense. (Especially when the episode is fucking CALLED "Duel Citizenship." It's not like we didn't know how it was going to end up.)
Does the US no longer make you renounce your original citizenship (if you don't have special dual citizenship circumstances)?
I thought that too and was chastised by my daughter who Googled the State Dept web site to prove me wrong...darn kids! You only have to give up US citizenship if you *apply* for foreign citizenship.

Well, the US technically doesn't recognize any other citizenships one might have, but they definitely used to make you renounce if you wanted to acquire US citizenship (through circumstances unrelated to your birth, such as Robin's).
Wil Wheaton in The Big Bang Theory!
That was so cool!
That is all.
It seemed to be a Pulp Fiction homage with all the scenes in a random order. I think.
Nossir, it had two storylines: the Brock story moved forward in time linearly and the Ventures story moved backwards in time (with the comic gaining value in each scene) until it leapt back to catch up with the other one.

ahh that makes sense. I definitely understood the first half better the second time through. Need to rewatch at least one more time and pin down the things they never did explain.
Thanks, Corwood!
This episode gets better every tme I watch it. Did you notice (oh I forget their numbers) the one minion run across the screen with the other minion's head at the beginning?
