Anya: It's lovely! I wish it was mine! Oh like you weren't all thinking the same thing. Giles: I'm fairly certain I wasn't.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

oh, now that's interesting.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

...it's like they know I'm always about to delete Glee from the DVR. First Kristin Chenoweth and now this.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I was just taping the Chenoweth ep this morning so I could take it off my dvr, and I thought that it'd be a good ep to introduce the show to my mom. She and I both saw Chenoweth as Sally in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" when it was in previews in Skokie before it hit Broadway and her career took off, and she was the star of the show in our eyes (well, her and Roger Bart, who played Snoopy).

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I definitely only got 15 minutes of Venture Bros. It was not enough crack.

We got the full half hour in Boston. It seemed to be a Pulp Fiction homage with all the scenes in a random order. I think.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My VB was weird and confusing but not like Hec described. I kind of get what they were doing, but far from completely.

Made me want to watch last season again, I don't remember much of what happened...

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

From the Adult Swim facebook page:

Somehow there was a hiccup with our west coast feed last night. So, our bad, west coast Venture fans. To make it up to you, we're showing the Season Four premiere Monday - Thursday this week at 12:30am. Or, if you can't wait to watch it on your mini-big screen at home: you can watch it online right now. Giddy-up: >[link]

Apparently the west coast feed was screwed up and so yes, the first half of Venture Brothers aired twice in a row out there. They just updated the schedule today, and I guess to make up for it they're reairing it again at 12:30 tonight. And tomorrow. And Wednesday. And Thursday.

It's also on the [as] site now, which is how I just caught up.

oooo, xposty. Oops.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Figures that the episode with the challenging chronological order would fuck up by repeating the beginning twice. Because there were little hints/clues indicating the order shuffle (mostly Hank's hair), so I sat there as the first half rolled again wondering when it would subtly split off and present a different timeline or perspective or something. Which just made me feel crazy.

Yeah, I can see that. I actually recorded the East Coast feed on one device and the West Coast on another (not exactly on purpose) so I got to see how disorienting a mistake it was. It's got a very "Wait, is it supposed to be like that?" feeling to it even correctly aired...

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Last night's HIMYM was subpar in comparison to last week's great episode. I didn't understand why Robin didn't consider dual citizenship from the get-go. The dilemma made no sense. (Especially when the episode is fucking CALLED "Duel Citizenship." It's not like we didn't know how it was going to end up.)
